Quick Fashion Fix
What do you do when you're all ready for the evening but then you realize that you have a torn hem, loose buttons or your deodorant stains are besmirching the armholes! okay! first of all.. Don't panic.
Here are a few DIY fixes to prevent wardrobe malfunctions.
Deodorant marks:
Stop waiting for the dry cleaners to clean them out. You can use a nylon stocking or a pair of pantyhose to remove those dirty deodorant smudges from your clothes.
Fallen hem:
This can be really annoying if you are out and you don't see any sewing kit around. If you're in your office then use a stapler to staple your hems or use a double sided tape to fix it. It works wonders.
Loose buttons:
Dab the top of the button with a clear nail polish, it will stick instantly and prevent it from falling off.
Lost earring back:
All you need is a pencil eraser. Break the eraser and make a tiny hole in it (so you don't hurt yourself trying to do it while the earring is in your ear) before using it.
Blisters from new shoe:
To keep blisters at bay, rub a deodorant stick on your feet (wherever necessary). This will lubricate the foot to avoid friction. You can also use a band-aid if you've developed the blister already. Tape plays a great role here. You can also use a tape to cover those painful and sore blisters.
A run in your nylons:
Since you've already used a clear nail polish above, just remember it comes handy here too. Use the clear nail polish to stop the run in it's place.
Sweater fuzz:
It can be truly disappointing when your sweater starts developing those little fuzz balls. Don't be sad, just grab your razor and just do a quick gentle shave over the area.
Congrats on staring ur new blog.. really happy for u.. nd those tips sound good wud try them out.. all the best :)
